PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has said she has not participated in the sin of extension in the service of army chief.
“Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is new method for rigging in polls. The election commission is facing wrath of government for identifying faults. The government which is based on rigging has no relevance with fair and free election. I was not included in the sin of granting extension to army chief in his service”, she said while talking to media men outside Islamabad High Court (IHC) here Thursday.
She went on to say Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is certified thief of this country. Imran Khan had said that if petrol, atta and electricity are expensive then PM is thief.
“ you can not hide your theft by saying thief other people. PM talked of self accountability and now he is escaping. Imran Khan will have to give reply. This is not his personal property, she added.
Imran Khan if the accountability is only for Nawaz Sharif and when the matter of your theft came then you very comfortably said I will not render account, she remarked.
She underlined “when Imran Khan was in opposition he leveled allegations against the opposition. Now these allegations are coming to him.
Terming the electoral reforms ineffective she said whosoever overstep the powers they commit robbery on the mandate of the people. Unless a wall is erected in front of him, the electoral reforms will be of no use.
She observed PML-N leaders did not criticize the institutions despite personal and political differences.
She alleged government is inciting the members of election commission to take action against election commissioner. This is highly dangerous thing.
Election commission is now going to bring to fore the facts about disappearance of election staff in Daska, she said adding as per election commission report rigging of PTI MNA proved in Kurram Agency election.
EVM is RTS like story, she said adding EVM is a new method for rigging. Those who used to talk of respecting the institutions in the past are now attacking the election commission.
To a question she said PML-N will give its reaction when the extension in the service of chairman NAB is announced formally. It is government policy that opposition role from NAB is excluded and brothers of government ministers be included therein.
The government which is based on rigging has nothing to do with transparency, she held. Government is relying on rigging even after four years.
To a question from a journalist that what will she say one extension was earlier granted and now extension is being given to chairman NAB., she replied that she was not included in the sin of first extension.
The journalist said that PML-N had caste vote. Maryam Nawaz replied she was not part of the then PML-N.
On the disappointing role of opposition on the issue of inflation she said PML-N is sitting mute in parliament over the issue of price hike. People are facing the worst inflaton. Therefore, opposition should stand with the people.
She claimed PTI government has failed on every diplomatic front. I don’t think that such historical degradation has been suffered ever by some one else.
When it is said on CCN channel that PM Imran Khan standing is not more than Islamabad mayor then such humiliation has never been met by any PM in the country.
On my way to court I heard the ridiculous news corona certificate of Nawaz Sharif has been made. The vaccination record of the present government is fake. I am much concerned over it that international community will express resentment over it.
