Star women sports academy summer hockey camp concluded

Star Women Sports Academy Jacobabad’s 7th Summer Hockey Camp in Islamabad has been launched, made possible for the first time through excellent collaboration with the Australian High Commission.
Female players from Jacobabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Shaheed Benazirabad have participated with great enthusiasm. The players said that this is the first camp in Pakistan’s hockey history where excellent accommodation, food, training, coaches, and travel arrangements have been made. Not only that, but all players have also been provided with uniforms, bags, and other hockey equipment.
The founder of Star Women Sports Academy, Irum Baloch, said that she is grateful to the Australian High Commission for supporting them and playing an excellent role in making this training camp possible and historic.
This camp is for junior female players under the age of 21, and its biggest benefit is to strengthen the teams from interior Sindh in the province. The camp will run from June 21 to July 3 2025 in Islamabad.
