Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday once again claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost majority in the National Assembly and his days were numbered.
“Imran Khan should stop lying or else he (Bilawal Bhutto Zardari) will expose the corruption of the first lady” he said while addressing PPP supporters at a rally in Parachinar tribal district Kurram here on Saturday.
Bilawal said that PM Imran Khan himself violated law and did not want to abide by the rule of law and supremacy of the constitution.
The PPP leader accused Imran Khan of being a hypocrite, liar and deceiver who had planned the destruction of the country with the mere slogan of ‘change’.
Addressing a public gathering at the sports complex in Parachinar, the headquarters of Kurram tribal district, , Bilawal went on and criticized the PTI government for making institutions including judiciary and establishment controversial.
PPP struggled for the restoration of democracy and wanted every institution of the country to function independently within its legal ambit, he added.
“PTI government imposed taxes on goods and even on donations from abroad for natural disasters as well. This is tantamount to robbing the economy. Imposing tax on the baby’s milk is unfair to the poor people,” he added.
Referring to the no-confidence motion, the PPP chairman said Imran has been running from the National Assembly session and facing the opposition in the National Assembly.
While citing the accusation of boot polish on others, he addressed Imran and said that you have finished the boot polish and now you are ready to lick the boots.
The PTI during the last four years of government failed to hold any person accountable and accused the incumbent rulers of unprecedented corruption in the country.
“Now is the time to protect the country from this puppet government collectively”, Bilawal Bhutto said in his speech, adding that “PPP will bring electoral reforms and hold clean and transparent elections in the country after coming into power”.
His party will complete the incomplete mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and will hold the current rulers accountable by restoring the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to its original status.
Bilawal promised to set up a medical college in Parachinar and told the people that the present government was rigged so they would try to stop rigging of the government in the upcoming local body elections and the people of Parachinar should not allow anyone to rig the polls.
The PPP chairman said that victory would be for the people and democracy.
