Bitcoin rises to $27,400 as bulls return

ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market turned bullish on Monday amid expectation of a potential pause in interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve at its policy meeting this week, with the market capitalization gaining 2.3 percent to reach $1.12 trillion. As of 1305 hours GMT, Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, gained 3.1 percent in the last 24 hours to reach $27,400. Bitcoin has been 7.1 percent up in the past seven days.
Similarly, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, gained 2.1 percent to reach $1,666. With this increase in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $200.4 billion. ETH has been 5 percent up in the past seven days.
Likewise, Binance Coin (BNB) price surged 2.4 percent to reach $220. The market capitalization of BNB has reached $33.9 billion with this increase. BNB has gained 6.4 percent of its value during the last seven days.
On the other hand, Ripple (XRP) price increased by 1.2 percent in the past 24 hours to reach $0.503. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $26.8 billion with this increase. XRP has gained 7.4 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Following suit, Cardano (ADA) price went up by 1.9 percent to reach $0.254. With this increase in price, its market capitalization has reached $8.9 billion. ADA has gained 4.1 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and Solana (SOL) landed in the green as overall prices saw gains across the board.
