ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market turned around on Friday, with the market capitalization gaining 2.4 percent to reach $1.73 trillion. As of 1305 hours GMT, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, jumped to $43,119 with an increase of 2.4 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $845.8 billion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 4.4 percent up in the past seven days. Bitcoin experienced a decline below the $43,000 threshold a day earlier, following the US Federal Reserve’s decision to maintain interest rates, fueled by investor expectations of a possible rate cut in March.
