The cryptocurrency market remained cautious on Wednesday due to recent regulatory developments and macroeconomic factors, with the market capitalization losing 0.8 percent to reach $1.08 trillion.
As of 1320 hours GMT, Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, dipped below the $26,000 mark. BTC shed 0.7 percent in the last 24 hours to reach $25,825. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $502.7 billion with this decrease. Bitcoin has been 11.4 percent down in the past seven days.
Similarly, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, edged down by 1.5 percent to reach $1,636. With this decrease in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $196.8 billion. ETH has been 10.3 percent down in the past seven days.
