Life threat to chairman PTI in jail
ISLAMABAD
Bushra Bibi has resorted to Islamabad High Court (IHC) for security and protection of Imran Khan due to life threat facing chairman PTI in jail.
Bushra Bibi wife of chairman PTI has filed a petition in IHC through Latif Khosa advocate expressing the fear Imran Khan can be given poison to Imran Khan through meal.
The petitioner has taken plea chairman PTI was not allowed to eat home made meal. In the past this facility was given to prisoners. Provision of pure food to Imran Khan be ensured through responsible medical officer. Adulterated food can be harmful for the life of her husband.
Bushra Bibi has also said in the petition that her husband is not being provided such facilities as per jail manual for which he is entitled to. Implementation of the court order for providing facilities in jail be ensured.
According to text of petition, Bushra Bibi is of view inhuman treatment to her husband in jail is violation of constitution. It has been requested in the petition the facility of walk in jail and exercise be provided to chairman PTI.
