Islamabad : The federal cabinet has decided to celebrate Pakistan’s Independency Day with zeal and commitment.
The decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday which was held in the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
The day is celebrated to commemorate the sacrifices made by our forefathers during the freedom struggle.
Prime Minister Imran Khan during the meeting directed to celebrate Independency Day with zeal and commitment but following SOPs strictly.
The cabinet meeting condemned opposition parties violent approach outside NAB office and directed legal action against the violators.
The meeting observed that the violent measures by opposition were taken to harass NAB.
The meeting reviewed overall political and economic situation in the country and gave approval of the economic coordination committee decisions.
The meeting was also briefed about the preparations being made to celebrate Independency Day. The prime minister directed participants of the meeting to arrange programs in connection with August 14 but following SOPs strictly.
PM Khan is Independence Day is our identity and there is need to get our coming generations aware about the history of independence.
CDA Chairman briefed the meeting on encroachments around Margalla Road and operation against them. The federal cabinet directed end of encroachments from Margalla Road. IG Islamabad briefed the Cabinet on the measures taken by police against land grabbers in the surrounding areas of Islamabad.
