PESHAWAR: Capital Metropolitan organized a rally on Tuesday to mark Kashmir Exploitation Day. Led by Qaiser Bacha, Chairman of Mazdoor Ittehad, the demonstration saw active participation from employees as it marched from Bacha Khan Chowk, with attendees raising slogans in support of Kashmiri people. Addressing the rally, Qaiser Bacha highlighted that unarmed Muslims of occupied Kashmir have maintained their courageous struggle for self-determination despite facing severe oppression, repression, and ongoing human rights violations. He emphasized that Kashmir Exploitation Day serves as a stark reminder of what happens when force overrides law, oppression replaces justice, and occupation trumps public desire, depriving nations of their fundamental rights. He strongly condemned India’s ongoing atrocities in the region, focusing particularly on the Indian government’s unilateral abolition of Kashmir’s special status seven years ago.
