PESHAWAR
The provincial caretaker Minister for Industry, Trade and Technical Education Adnan Jalil has said that promotion of economic activities as well as maintaining law and order situation in former Fata was the key priorities of the government.
He made these remarks while chairing a meeting regarding the performance of the Industry, Trade and Technical Education department here on Friday.
On this occasion,the caretaker Minister asked the officials of the department concerned to inform the people about the work being done for their welfare and prosperity.
Adnan Jalil directed that the department should write letters to all chambers of industry and trade and business organizations that how industry and craft and technical education in the province can be improved on a realistic basis as well as for the promotion of investment in the province.
The officials concerned should go out of their offices and go to the businessmen and investors themselves, he added and said that emphasis should be made to discourage rubber burning and promote the use of coal in brick factories in addition to other sectors to reduce air pollution.
