Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Department Taj Mohammad Afridi has lauded the services rendered by personnel of Rescue-1122 in natural and man-made calamities.
The excellent performance of Rescue 1122 in a short period of time is commendable, the provision of quality services and services should be maintained, he added. Taj Mohammad expressed these views here on Monday while addressing a ceremony organized by Rescue-1122 head office. The event was also attended by the Director General (DG) Rescue 1122 and other concerned officers.
On this occasion, the Caretaker Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation and Resettlement was given a detailed briefing about the Emergency Response Mechanism, Control Room, Provincial Monitoring Cell and Ambulance Service.
The Caretaker Minister also inspected the services of Rescue 1122 and various stalls of emergency equipment.
Taj Mohammad Afridi also urged the concerned authorities to ensure the safety of the vehicles and equipment under the management of Rescue 1122, including training the relevant officials from time to time and to be ready at all times to deal with emergency situations.
He lauded the department’s performance and expressed his satisfaction on their services and morale.
He also emphasized on ensuring the provision of all necessary facilities in all Rescue 1122 centers established in the merged districts.
