ISLAMABAD: Case has been registered against Dr Abdul Khaliq incharge PIMS Burn Centre in police station Karachi company on the charges of subjecting trainee doctor Muhammad Ibrahim to violence. The case has been registered under section 427 and 506. According to case Dr Abdul Khaliq is accused of subjecting Dr Muhammad Ibrahim to violence with the help of his staff besides preventing him from performing his professional obligations. According to plaintiff this incident had occurred in October last year. The petitioner Dr Muhammad Ibrahim is of the view that police delayed the proceedings on his complaint despite occurrence of the incident and the case was not registered till five months. However the police registered the FIR under the orders of Sessions court Islamabad. According the police sources investigations have been started and evidence are being collected in the light of charges. Further legal proceedings of the case will continue in the court. Online
