Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Tahir Khan on Monday directed the cops to leave no stone unturned to maintenance peace in the provincial capital.
He was speaking at a high level meeting convened to discuss law and other situation in the provincial metropolis held at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines here.
SSP Traffic Yasir Afridi, SSP Investigation Nisar Khan, Divisional SPs Shafiullah Gandapur, Shehzada Kokab, Wasim Riaz, Shaukat Khan, ASPs and DSPs attended the meeting.
The CCPO said that team work was needed to ensure maintenance of law and order and provide security to people. He directed the subordinates to carried out campaigns against drugs and improve the standard of investigation so the accused could not escape justice and the aggrieved parties get justice.
He also directed for practical steps to control street crimes and asked for better coordination among the investigation officers and cooperation to solve various crimes cases in the minimum possible time.
