In a successful operation, the Capital City Police Peshawar recovered Dr. Muhammad Yusuf, who was kidnapped for a ransom of crores of rupees. The operation was carried out on the special instructions of Capital City Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan.
A special team, led by SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar and SSP Investigations Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, was formed to track down the kidnappers and rescue Dr. Yusuf. The team consisted of SP Cantt Aitzaz Arif, DSP Cantt Investigation Akhtar Naseer Khan, DSP Pashtakhara Sajjad Hussain, and SHO Sarband Police Station Tariq Jamal.
After days and nights of tireless efforts, the team arrested two suspects, Hikmat and Asad Ali, and recovered the stolen vehicle and weapons used in the kidnapping. The kidnapped doctor was safely recovered from the clutches of the kidnappers.
The investigation is ongoing, and the arrested accused have revealed the names of other gang members, who will be apprehended soon. The swift action of CCPO Peshawar and his team has brought relief to the family of Dr. Yusuf and sent a strong message to the kidnappers.
