Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad, carried out a detailed inspection of the arrangements and security plan for the political power show in the provincial gathering.
During the visit, SP Masood Ahmad, and other senior officials were also present. The CCPO thoroughly reviewed the venue, surrounding points, security perimeters, and overall strategy. Special focus was given to entry and exit routes, checkpoints, and security layers around the rally site.
The Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) was directed to ensure continuous sweeping of the area, while CCPO emphasized making security checks at entry points stricter and more effective. The deployment of lady police officers, BDU teams, and other personnel was also finalized in line with the comprehensive plan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saeed reaffirmed that all possible measures are being implemented to safeguard Peshawar’s capital zones and to provide maximum security during the event.
