Capital Police Chief Dr. Mian Saeed on Saturday paid a visit to the Rural Division, Saddar Division, Chamkani Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) and Chowki Waheedabad.
According to a statement CCPO Dr Mian Saeed reviewed overall security arrangements and ongoing construction works in detail.
During the visit, the CCPO inspected official records and registered cases at Chamkani Police Station, DRC Chamkani, SP Rural Office, Inqelab Police Station and Chowki Waheedabad.
He also examined the condition of lock-ups, official weapons, personnel attendance and overall cleanliness of the facilities.
SSP Operations Farhan Khan and SP Rural Division Hamid Ihsan Warraich accompanied the CCPO during the visit.
Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed appreciated the performance of Muharrar staff and on-duty police personnel for timely completion of records, improved arrangements, cleanliness and dedication to duty. He awarded cash prizes to encourage them for their exemplary performance.
On the occasion, the CCPO strictly instructed the Muharrar staff to prioritize public service, emphasizing that the issues of citizens and petitioners must be addressed promptly and on a priority basis.
He further directed police officers and personnel to ensure effective crime prevention, perform their duties professionally, and remain vigilant and alert at all times to maintain law and order in the area.
