CCPO visits police control room to review security arrangements

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Qasim Ali Khan, visited various police stations in the provincial capital and command centers to review security arrangements for Muharram. He ensured that adequate measures are in place to maintain law and order during this period.
As part of the security plan, 14,000 police officers and personnel are deployed, along with 10 platoons of Frontier Constabulary and Pakistan Army QRF.
Three-layer security is provided for all important functions, processions, and ghazadars, with snipers deployed at high-rise buildings along the corridors.
Close coordination has been established with Rescue 1122, Civil Defense, District Administration, Health, and other institutions to ensure peaceful celebrations.
Meetings have been held with ulema, business community, district administration, and other stakeholders to ensure a united effort.
The modern command and control room monitors all routes and sensitive places through CCTV cameras.
Armored vehicles, RRF, ATS, QRF, Ladies Police, BDU, Ababil Squad, City Patrol Force, and DSB personnel are also deployed.
Over 1000 traffic police officers are ensuring smooth traffic flow. CCPO Peshawar, Qasim Ali Khan, appreciates the role of the people of Peshawar in maintaining peace during Muharram and urges continued cooperation.”
