CECOS University held its annual convocation ceremony on the 20th of January, 2024, marking a momentous occasion for the graduating class of 2023.
A total of 130 Graduates were part of this event and were there for the celebration of their academic achievement, beginning with the recitation of the Holy Quran and proceeding with various highlights throughout the day.
The event started with Professor Dr. Naseer Ahmad, the Vice-Chancellor of CECOS University inspiring speech, reflecting on the journey of the graduates and emphasizing the importance of education in shaping a better future.
A pinnacle of the ceremony was the prestigious Gold Medal awards, bestowed upon 15 outstanding graduates who excelled in their respective Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. Additionally, three exceptional individuals were honored with Ph.D. degrees, a testament to their dedication and scholarly contributions.
Following the awarding of gold medals and PhD degrees, degrees were conferred upon the Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates of the Class of 2023. Each graduate walked proudly across the stage, receiving their hard-earned degrees, symbolizing the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
Distinguished guests graced the occasion with their presence, including our Chief Guest Haji Ghulam Ali (Governor of KPK), who delivered an insightful speech, motivating the graduates to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on society.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Qasim Ullah Jan also shared words of wisdom, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in the ever-evolving world.
President Engr.Tanveer Javed concluded the series of speeches by commending the graduates on their achievements and encouraging them to apply their knowledge for the betterment of society.
The convocation concluded on a joyful note as group pictures of the Class of 2023 were taken, capturing the essence of shared accomplishments. A sumptuous lunch was served, providing an opportunity for students, faculty and guests to mingle and celebrate the day’s success.
