Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has criticized the central government for imposing new taxes through a mini budget.
Barrister Saif said “the imported government is planing to impose more taxes of 80 billion through a mini-budget, “ adding that new taxes on inflation hit people would pave way for new storm of poverty across the country.
In a statement issued from his office, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that the incumbent government had allegedly destroyed the country’s economy.
The prime minister has failed to show any progress in economic sector despite borrowing from foreign countries, he added.
Mr Saif went on to say that the incumbent government which is consisting of PDM parties had no preparation to manage the economy.
He accused them for orchestrating regime change against an elected people’s government.
Barrister Saif said that even after imposing new taxes in the budget, increasing the prices of petroleum products and raising inflation to the highest level, the imported federal government had no mercy on the condition of the people.
“The imported government is now planning to impose new taxes of Rs 80 billion through the mini-budget, which will bring a new storm of inflation in the country,” Saif said.
Pakstan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will oppose this anti-people decision of government at every level, he said adding that PDM parties should announce fresh general elections in the country if they could not manage to provide relief to the people.
