A ceremony was hosted in honor of former SP Cantt Division Waqar Ahmed at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line here on Tuesday.
SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed paid rich tribute to SP Waqar Ahmed for his professional services in the provincial capital and highlighting him as a capable and excellent police officer.
He said that SP Waqar Ahmed has always given positive results in fulfilling the tasks assigned to him in record time and has proved his mettle.
Mr Haroon on the occasion said that SP Waqar Ahmed was a brave police officer who has performed his duties with full vigor against the elements involved in crime prevention and anti-social activities and has achieved successes against the criminal elements.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Waqar Ahmed while talking about the past months and years in Capital City Police Peshawar said that they are proud to be part of the front line force against terrorism, adding that Capital City Police.
I will forever remember the love he received from the police officers and men while performing their duties in Peshawar he added.
Finally, SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed presented a commemorative shield to SP Waqar Ahmed in recognition of his services.
