A grand ceremony was organized at Bannu Hockey Stadium in the honor of Bacha Khan Hockey Club players who performed brilliantly in the Inter Board Hockey Tournament. On this occasion, Mari Petroleum International Hockey players Khairullah and Nadeem Khan distributed honorary certificates and track suits among the players.
They were accompanied by the President District Hockey Association Younus Khan, District General Secretary Naeem Khan, Regional Sports Officer Peshawar Kashif Farhan, Bannu Hockey Coach Barkat Ali, Senior Vice President Hafiz Israr, and players from various departments Jamil Bostan, Walid Akhtar and Khamid Khan.
On this occasion, International Hockey player Khairullah highlighted the importance of hockey and said that it is a great opportunity for Bannu players to make their future in hockey.
He further said that we have supported the players of Bannu at every level and will continue to support them in the future. International hockey player Nadeem Khan said in his address that there is greatness in hard work, and if a person works hard, Almighty
Allah gives him the best position. He said that Bannu hockey has always had a prominent position, and currently about twenty-five players are playing from different departments, out of which four players are representing Pakistan’s senior and junior hockey teams. Finally, honorary prizes were distributed among the players.
