Chairman Board of Governors (BoG) of Ayub Medical Institution (AMI) Professor Dr. Abid Jameel here on Sunday conducted a detailed visit to various wards, the Emergency Department, and the Pediatric Emergency of the hospital to personally review the medical facilities being provided to patients and to further improve the quality of treatment.
During the visit, Dean and CEO LRH Mahmood Noor, hospital executives, and heads of different departments accompanied the Chairman. Professor Dr. Abid Jameel inspected different sections of the hospital and interacted with patients, their attendants, and doctors and nursing staff on duty to assess healthcare services firsthand.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman BoG emphasized that all records related to a patient’s treatment must be properly maintained under the MR number to ensure that patients can easily access their medical records whenever required. He stated that every possible step is being taken to facilitate patients and provide better treatment, adding that no negligence in patient care will be tolerated.
The Chairman also held detailed discussions with doctors regarding the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), while the IT Department briefed him comprehensively about the system. He stressed the importance of accurate and complete digital record-keeping for effective patient care.
During a special visit to the Pediatric Emergency, Professor Dr. Abid Jameel met with the TMOs on duty, expressed satisfaction with the medical facilities and treatment being provided to children, and appreciated the performance and dedication of the concerned staff.
