Chairmen of five secondary and higher secondary education boards in Sindh have been barred from going to the offices. The Sindh Universities and Boards Department secretary stopped the chairmen from going to their offices after the court orders.
The chairmen of Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, and Larkana boards were among those who were stopped from going to the offices.
A few days ago, a court declared the appointment of chairmen without a search committee illegal and suspended the notification of their appointments.
The Universities and Boards Department secretary directed that the court orders should be implemented strictly.
