Chief Secy KP, IGP visit injured policemen of DI Khan terror attack

Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed on Saturday visited the Trauma Center at District Headquarters Teaching Hospital, Dera Ismail Khan, to inquire after the police personnel injured in the recent terrorist attack on the Police Training Center.
Following the funeral prayers of the martyred policemen, the Chief Secretary and the IGP proceeded to the hospital where they met the injured officers, inquired about their health, and expressed solidarity with them.
They appreciated the courage and professionalism of the police personnel who bravely confronted the terrorists and prevented further damage.
The Chief Secretary and the IGP also presented bouquets to the injured policemen and offered prayers for their swift recovery.
On the occasion, the Chief Secretary directed the doctors and hospital administration to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care to the injured personnel. He emphasized that the wounded policemen are a valuable asset to the force, and no effort should be spared in their treatment and rehabilitation.
He reiterated that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the police force and the families of those who rendered supreme sacrifices in the line of duty, reaffirming the government’s unwavering commitment to peace and the security of the province.
