ISLAMABAD: Karakoram International University (KIU) has awarded scholarship cheques to 95 PhD, MS and BS students under the China-Pakistan Friendship Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship programme, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to more than 500 since 2022, according to a Gwadar Pro tally. KIU’s Public Relations Office said senior university management, faculty members and scholarship recipients attended the ceremony. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah said the university was committed to helping students continue their studies without financial hurdles.
