The forces solidarity rally was held at Bahca Khan Chawk, main Landi Kotal Bazaar on Wednesday.
Led by former member of Provincial Assembly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wilson Wazir scores of Christian community members and local tribesmen participated in the pro-forces rally.
The participants while chanting slogans like “Long Live Pakistan”, “Long Live Pak forces,” and marched on the main road of the Bazaar.
Speaking on the occasion ex-minority member Wilson Wazir said in the time of Indian aggression the whole nation stands beside its forces and every single citizen of Pakistan is ready to lay down his life for the sake of his motherland.
He declared the last night Indian offence, “a cowardly act “and said the forces gave a crushing bow to the Indians by downing their five air fighters.
Pak army is one of the competent and professional forces of the world and is always ready to protect their motherland at the cost of their lives, he added.
The participants vowed that they were ready to lay down their lives for the sake of their motherland.
It is to be mentioned here that in the late night hours the Indians launched air strikes in six localities of Pakistan including Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and killed 26 civilians and injured 28 others.
In the combat five Indian jet fighters were taken down by the Pak forces, the government and forces official confirmed.
