RAWALPINDI: Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has intensified its campaign against quackery, urging citizens across the province to report unregistered and fake healthcare providers using a user-friendly technology-based system featuring geo-tagging and QR codes. According to details, an awareness campaign in this regard has been in place, especially on social media to maximize the reach. The commission is calling on the public to immediately identify and report illegal practitioners, including self-proclaimed doctors, hakeems, homeopaths etc. , and unlicensed clinics that operate without proper registration or licensing under the PHC Act. The commission advised the unregistered healthcare practitioners to get registered with the commission.
