The City Traffic Police Peshawar on Tuesday organized a training session for volunteer force to educate them about traffic rules. Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat, SP Headquarters Asif Bahadur and Education teams of City Traffic Police Peshawar attended the session.
During the training the participants were briefed on traffic rules and lectures were imparted to volunteers about the traffic management during the rush hours of the traffic. It may be recalled that a volunteer force was formed by the City Traffic Police Peshawar last week.
Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat in his address said that it was essential to create awareness among the citizens about the traffic rules as most of the people are unaware of the traffic rules.
He said that the formation of volunteer force comprising of male and female students was aimed at informing the citizens about traffic rules.
Abbas Majeed shared that the members of the volunteer force would make the citizens aware about other traffic rules including lane line discipline, zebra crossing, seat belt, helmet, and one wheeling throughout the city.
City Traffic Police Peshawar is continuing to provide awareness to the citizens about the flow of traffic in the city while after the formation of the force this process will be intensified and more people will be informed about the traffic rules.
