CM aide directs early completion of housing project in Nowshera

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Housing Dr. Amjad Ali on Thursday visited the Nowshera Mega City housing project and reviewed the ongoing development work. On this occasion, Director General Imran Wazir and other officials from the department were also present. While briefing the Special Assistant, the Director General stated that this housing project spans 2,000 kanals, and later it will be expanded to 6,000 kanals. The project is located just 4 kilometers from the motorway. About 30pc of work on the access road has been completed, while 50pc of work on the revised plan of the boundary wall is also done, along with the installation of the main gate. On this occasion, the Special Assistant for Housing, Dr. Amjad Ali, directed the relevant authorities that the embankments of the Khwar Canal should be strong and sustainable so that the population is protected during flood situations. In Phase One of the project, 2,000 kanals of land have been included, while work on the remaining area will continue gradually. The Special Assistant also instructed officials from National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) to complete the revised plan report within one month so that the pace of work on the project can be further accelerated. He also directed that the said road be completed soon, so that this housing project can be completed on time in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. DLP Report
