PESHAWAR
The Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Forests, Environment and Climate Change, Pir Musawir Khan on Saturday visited Balakot and Shogran to review moonson plantation.
He also oversaw ongoing efforts for forest conservation, afforestation, and development activities.
During the visit, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Hazara Forest Division, Abrar Ahmad Khan Swati, Sub-Divisional Forest Officer (SDFO) Usman Ali, and field staff of the Forest Department accompanied the adviser.
Discussions focused on strengthening forest protection measures, promoting tree plantation, and ensuring the sustainable conservation of natural resources.
He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department remains committed to building a greener, safer, and more sustainable future through its continued conservation and environmental initiatives.
