PESHAWAR: Caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan heaped praise on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police for showing satisfactory performance in recent operations against anti-social elements and terrorist attacks in various districts of the province. He commended the performance of Dera Ismial Khan police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for foiling terrorist attacks on various police posts and Jail with utmost courage and bravery. In a statement issued, the Chief Minister has praised the professionalism and efficiency of the police personnel who participated in the operations against the anti-social elements and said that the police personnel who participated in these operations deserve to be encouraged. Muhammad Azam Khan said that the successful actions of the police against miscreants and anti-social elements are satisfactory and commendable. The KP police had sacrificed a lot in ensuring the security of the nation, he said, adding the KP police force have shown outstanding performance in war against terrorism and sacrifices of the police in the province had no precedence in the entire history of the country. The KP police force is playing a key role in combating social evils and combating terrorism with great dignity, he said and added that the people of the province are standing side by side with their police and security forces in the war against terrorism.
