PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Thursday directed the district administration of Dera Ismail Khan to carry out relief and rescue activities in calamity-hit areas on emergency basis. The Chief Minister directed that rescue and relief activities in affected areas must start immediately to avert further human and property losses. He said rehabilitation of roads infrastructure and other communication setups must also be carried out on an emergency basis. Mahmood Khan said all available means should be utilized to provide needed assistance to the affected population and localities. The government, he said, will not leave alone the affected people during these critical times adding that every possible assistance would be provided to them. APP
