An important meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Friday, reviewed the implementation of the province’s 99-point public agenda.
According to an official handout, the agenda aimed at improving public services and governance, with significant progress reported across various sectors.
Key achievements include the organization of 429 open courts for different groups such as women, minorities, farmers, and businessmen, as well as extensive cleanliness campaigns.
The forum was informed that over 431 campaigns were conducted in educational institutions, while public infrastructure like roads, bus stations, and public toilets saw significant maintenance, with 843 toilets cleaned, 1066 roads and 590 canals maintained, and 1195 blocked drains cleared.
Additionally, 4359 dustbins were installed for public convenience, and 7267 garbage sites were cleaned up.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for improved district-level monitoring and the regular organization of open courts by divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, and assistant commissioners. Furthermore, he highlighted the ongoing inspections of Patwar Khanas (land revenue offices) and the installation of biometric systems in government offices to improve staff attendance.
Gandapur stressed that negligence would not be tolerated and called for the timely completion of ongoing tasks, such as the mapping of Patwar Khanas within 51 days. The provincial government aims to continue improving the delivery of public services through rigorous oversight and implementation.
