CM-KP appreciated for historic health initiatives in southern districts

The Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Faisal Amin Gandapur has appreciated Chief Minister Mahmood Khan for taking keen interest in the management of Medical Teaching Institutions across the province.
Faisal Amin Gandapur said that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Minister for Health Taimur Khan Jhagra strong coordination have made the provincial health system par with developed nations.
He expressed these remarks while interacting with medical staff of various hospitals in Dera Ismail Khan.
The people of Dera Ismail Khan and adjoining districts including the newly merged areas of South Waziristan, FR Tank were fully benefiting from the health system introduced by the provincial government, he added.
He eulogized the contributions of field health staff associated with these institutions and assured them all out support in discharging their professional obligations.
The Minister also appreciated the good will gesture of health authorities for sharing progress updates on health cover in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with cabinet members and seeking their inputs too.
The provincial government initiatives on Improvement & Enhancement of women & Children ward in D.I.Khan, establishing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for children, most modern 32 slices CT scan installation, Sehat Card + Ehsaas Tahafuz program as well as DIK hospital are some of the 14 best hospitals in Pakistan offering these facilities.
Sardar Faisal Amin Gandapur said the progress on Regional Blood Center in the district including approval of the project staff regularization, under construction Burn Center at MMTH D.I.Khan, with 20 male/female patients capacity were great achievements.
