PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Sohail Afridi has taken notice of the firing incident on a police vehicle in Bannu and strongly condemned the attack. According to an official statement issued here, the chief minister has sought a detailed report from the Inspector General of Police regarding the incident. Sohail Afridi has said that the martyrdom of a policeman and injuries to several others were highly regrettable. He added that the provincial government stands in complete solidarity with the family of the martyred policeman. The chief minister has directed authorities concerned to ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities to the injured and expressed prayers for their early recovery.
