PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan on Thursday ordered a four-member committee on the issue of allegations of mistreatment of Peshawar-based journalists in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH). A four-member committee has been constituted under the headship of HOD Cardiology of the hospital Dr Malik Faisal Iftikhar. Dr Ikram Ullah, Dr Tariq Nawaz, and Dr Jamal Bahadar were the members of the committee. According to an official statement, “the committee is requested to investigate the matter and submit facts finding reports within three (03) days”. A statement said that the committee was formed to investigate the alleged abuse of the local journalist in the hospital. KP CM in a statement has said that both doctors and journalists community are respected for the community and no one will be allowed to abuse anyone in the premises of a public sector hospital.
