CM-KP lauds planning service donation for flood-victims

Chief Minister Mehmood Khan on Tuesday lauded the donation initiative of the provincial planning services for the flood-hit families of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that it was our collective responsibility to work hard for those people reeling from the recent flash floods across the province, adding that the provincial government was taking all possible steps for their rehabilitation and relief.
Mahmood Khan appreciated the donation worth Rs7.8 million of the planning service employees for the flood victims.
The employees of the above-mentioned department voluntarily dedicated five days’ salary for the flood victims.
A check of Rs 7.8 million was handed over to Chief Minister Mehmood Khan.
Provincial Minister Shahram Khan Turkai and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
“The cooperation of the employees is appreciable which will surely encourage the flood victims,” he added.
Mahmood Khan added that flood victims deserved our special attention and all sections of the society, especially philanthropists, social organizations and related institutions will have to play a full role to provide maximum relief and restore them.
The Chief Minister clarified that the provincial government was very serious in this regard, despite the difficult financial conditions, the relief package for victims has been increased.
