PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has ordered an inquiry into the death of seven labourers during mining in the Nangabad area of Rustam Mardan. According to Rescue 1122, seven labourers were killed and three sustained injuries during mining in Nangabad in Rustam area of the district. According to an official statement, CM KP has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives and directed authorities to investigate the incident. Sohail Afridi extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls as well as patience for the grieving relatives. The chief minister also directed the authorities concerned to ensure immediate and effective medical treatment for the injured, expressing best wishes for their speedy recovery. He ordered a thorough inquiry to ascertain the causes of the accident and stressed the need to further strengthen safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future. DLP Report
