Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated the achievements of Vanessa O’Brien, Pakistan’s Goodwill Ambassador, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
The Chief of Army Staff also thanked her for promoting Pakistan as a goodwill ambassador during a meeting here at General Headquarters (GHQ), said the ISPR.
Vanessa O’Brien carried Pakistan’s national flag to the deepest point in the ocean named Challenger Deep, which is 10,293 meters down, as well as to the earth’s highest point Mount Everest. Vanessa is the first woman to reach the earth’s highest and lowest points along with Pakistani flag, setting a Guinness World Record.
Since 2017, Vanessa has been pro-actively promoting Pakistan’s image via tourism and foreign investment. She also works with private and public organizations to help facilitate them.
