An important meeting held here on Saturday with Commissioner Bannu Division Parvez Sabatkhel in the chair, reviewed arrangements for the upcoming 7th digital population and housing census.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Ashfaq Anwar, Pakistan Army officers, officials of NADRA and Bureau of Statistics, Secretary-to-Commissioner Noor Alamin, Assistant-to-Commissioner Development Gul Nawaz Khan and district administration officials attended the meeting.
The forum was briefed about the arrangements including staff deployment, security of the teams and facilitation for the conduct of smooth surveys of renumeration.
The meting was informed by the relevant officials about the overall preparation, procedure and completion of the census.
While giving instructions to the meeting, Mr Parvez said that census is a very important for the country on the basis of which permanent plans, strategies and decisions are made, therefore free from shortcomings, verified and correct population data should collected.
There will be no compromise on the performance of the deployed staff, so if the staff faces any difficulty, inform the concerned authorities in advance so that timely realization is possible, he added.
Commissioner Bannu division urged that every Pakistani citizen should actively participate.
He said that the valuable people of Bannu Division should fully cooperate with the house-to-house and census staff from March 1 to April 1, 2023 so that this basic national duty can be completed in a good manner.
