Addressing the meeting, the commissioner said that special attention should be paid to the refusal cases during the campaign while all the tehsil mayors also assured their full cooperation in this regard on which the commissioner Dera directed the concerned authorities.
That full details of campaign arrangements including number of children, number of refusal cases, number of polio teams and points etc. should be shared with the concerned tehsil mayors so that their support and refusal coverage can be facilitated.
The commissioner further said that the said tehsil mayors would also inaugurate the said campaign.
During the meeting, security plan including achievement of targets and various shortcomings during previous campaigns was also discussed, on which Commissioner Dera said.
That innovation in the micro-plan should ensure the achievement of the targets and similarly a timely security plan should be formulated for the campaign so that the campaign can be carried out successfully while ensuring the safety of the teams.
Commissioner Dera appealed to all parents to go door to door during every anti-polio campaign and cooperate fully with the anti-polio vaccination teams and make sure that every child up to the age of five years is vaccinated against polio. Like countries, we also managed to get rid of this nasty virus completely.
At the end of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the success of the campaign and complete eradication of polio virus from the country.
It may be recalled that in the last one month, three cases of polio have been
in Mirali area of North Waziristan tribal district on the basis of which the concerned authorities have taken steps to get rid of this deadly virus on emergency basis.

It is worth mentioning here that it is difficult to control this deadly polio virus without the cooperation of local religious Ullamas, tribal elders and heads of religious schools including Government and private educational institutions.

Therefore, the concerned authorities have to pay more attention to this, then it is possible that we can control this polio virus.
