Mardan
City local government session was held at town hall Mardan.
Mayor Mardan Himayat Ullah Mayar, elected members of local bodies chairmans and Councilers, officers of different government Department participated in the session
While Addressing to the session Mayor Mardan Himayat ullah mayar said that provincial Government should release PFC funds to local government to strengthen the democratic process and to fullfil our responsibility.
Mayor Mardan said that provincial Government should complete all the important remaining projects including DHQ hospital, Bacha Khan Medical College, Benazir butto Children hospitals and other projects of the previous government to give relief to he people of Mardan.
He said that illegal increase in the price and Unhealthy food became big problem of Mardan. District administration is unable to complete their responsibility regarding check and balance.
“We are starting a grand Operation against Encroachment in Mardan. Our mission is to Encroachment free Market in mardan.
Which will also solve traffic problem in the city” Mayor Mardan Added
“There are a lots of Problem regarding Health facilities and sehat card in Mardan we will try our best to solve these problems. We will also focus on problems in Education sector and will try to fully facilitate students of Colleges and schools “ he added
“ Mayor Mardan warned provincial Government if they did not issue rules of business under the local government act. We will protest in front of Provincial assembly and Chief Minister house.
Mayor Mardan talked about Gas and Electricity loadsheding in Mardan, Taxation and other Problems in Mardan.
Mayor Mardan condemn terrorist attack on Sikh Community in peshawar and said that we will ensure all the basic rights to minorities.
Elected Members Express their views regarding solidarity with Sikh Community, Facilities and problems in Hospitals, completion of projects in Mardan, training center for women and separate facilities for women in government organization.
Mayor Mardan said that we will fully focus on solving all the problems in Mardan.
Mayor Mardan Himayat ullah mayar said that elected members must study local government acts and rules of business.
