On behalf of Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA), compensation cheques of 0.3 million rupees each were given away to the heirs of five deceased, killed in roof collapse incidents in Bazaar Zakha Khel, the remote and bordering areas during torrential rain.
In this connection a simple moot was organized in the office of Assistant Commissioner (AC),Landi Kotal that was attended by the AC,tribal elders,councillors and members of the affected families. Speaking on the occasion AC Irshad Mohmand expressed his grief over the human loss and said the government stands stern with affected families and will never leave them alone in the time of need.
Although a few lacs rupees cannot be a substitute for human life, it is just financial support, extended by the government to its citizens to support them in the time of tragedy.
The affected families thanked the government for the financial help and hoped that their support will be continued in future.
At the end cheques of rupees 0.3 million each were granted to five the relatives of five persons who had lost their lives in roof collapse in Bazaar Zakha Khel.
