Concept of punishment, reward has ended in Sindh: SC

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) while expressing resentment over unnecessary delay in registration of murder case in Sindh has summoned IG Sindh on next hearing. Justice Hashim Kakar of Supreme Court (SC) has remarked there is no concept of punishment and reward in Sindh and Sindh police itself is getting acquitted the people. A two members bench of SC took up the case for hearing Tuesday. The court summoned Advocate General Sindh and DIG Sukkar. Justice Hashim Kakar remarked the concept of punishment and reward has ended in Sindh and Sindh police itself is getting acquitted people. He remarked in several cases police avoids registering case. Justice Hashim Kakar remarked the case was registered after two days of murder in this case. Even animals are not killed this way. Justice Salah ud Din Panhwar remarked situation in Sukkar and Larkana is miserable. The court while directing lawyers of the respondents to make preparation adjourned the hearing of the case till September 21. APP
