ATTOCK: Investigating Officer of Wah Saddar Police Station has been suspended for allegedly minting bribe over complaint of an aggrieved family of a kidnapped property dealer. According to details, Police said that a local property dealer Abdul Rehman was abducted allegedly by his business partner from New City area of Wah Saddar Police Station on December 05, 2022 and thereafter his dead body was found near village Mirza of police station Attock Saddar on December 07, 2022. The police had registered the First Information Report (FIR) against the accused under section 7 of Anti Terrorist Act. However, victim’s family appeared before the CPO Rawalpindi to file a complaint that the Mr. Nazar Mohammad SI declared the accused innocent from the charges allegedly after getting rupees three millions. The City Police Officer while hearing the both parties in details sent the police officer concerned to report police line after suspending him besides order to face a departmental inquiry initiated against him under the rules, accordingly.
