Court accepts exemption plea of Sheikh Rashid

ISLAMABAD
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has accepted exemption from attendance plea of former federal minister Sheikh Rashid in Zardari remarks case. Sardar Shahbaz counsel for Sheikh Rashid appeared in the court of judicial magistrate Abbas Shah. Exemption plea for one day ( Saturday) was filed in the court on behalf of Sheikh Rashid. The indictment proceedings against Sheikh Rashid was postponed and hearing was adjourned till July 10. Sardar Shahbaz counsel for the accused argued Police is active to arrest Sheikh Rashid.
He is on bail and is not wanted in any case.
The counsel requested that Sheikh Rashid cannot appear in the prevailing situation, therefore, exemption from attendance be granted to him.
