Illegal appointments case
LAHORE: Anti corruption court has adjourned till June 19 hearing of bail plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in corruption in appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case. The case could not move ahead in anti corruption court being the special judge anti corruption Ali Raza on leave. Pervez Elahi took the plea in bail petition that he has no concern with the illegal appointments case. He is being politically victimized. Prosecution too has no evidence in this regard therefore, he be released on bail. It has been told that special judge anti corruption Ali Raza Awan is on leave therefore, duty judge has adjourned hearing of bail plea till June 19. ONLINE
