ISLAMABAD
Additional District and Sessions judge has cancelled non-bailable arrest warrants of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha besides adjourning the hearing of the case till Saturday. Judge Afzal Majoka said we have not appointed state counsel. The committee which has appointed state council can remove him. Give arguments with reference to state counsel on Saturday and we will give decision. He gave these remarks during hearing of the case Thursday. Controversial tweet case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha came up for hearing in the court led by additional district and sessions judge Afzal Majoka Thursday.
Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha appeared in the court.
Sami Ullah Wazir filed power of attorney on behalf of Hadi Ali Chatha.
The court revoked the non bailable arrest warrants of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha.
Imaan Mazari took the plea she should be given time to engage lawyer.
Judge Afzal Majoka said to her to file power of attorney of her lawyer on Saturday.
Imaan Mazari took the plea our rights are being violated due to the speed on which the case is running . Court should read out to us our charge sheet. We are being punished for speaking the truth.
Judge Afzal Majoka said the court has read out three times charge sheet in the presence of the lawyers.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Saturday.
