GUJRANWALA: Duty Additional Sessions Judge Gujranwala has ordered to dismiss the petition seeking registration of case against JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in connection with his controversial speech against Pakistan army. The petition has been dismissed at the request of counsel for the petitioner. The petition seeking court’s order for registration of case against Maulana Fazlur Rehman came up for hearing in the court of Duty Additional Sessions Judge Bashir Ahmad. Police while filing reply in the court took the plea the petitioner has not mentioned time and date regarding speech of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the petition. Such matters too don’t fall in our jurisdiction. Upon it the counsel for the petitioner Manzoor Qadir Bhindar advocate requested for withdrawing the petition.
