Court extends interim bail of 104 accused persons including Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan in May 9 cases

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has extended interim bail of 104 accused persons in May 9 cases.
Judge Arshid Javed heard interim bail pleas of 104 accused persons including Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, Asad Umar, Umar Ayoub and Fawad Chaudhry.
Advocate Najib Faisal said in the arguments hearing of several bail pleas is pending in Supreme Court (SC). No proceedings be initiated on bail pleas till the decision of SC. All the accused are nominated in the cases of same nature.
Advocate Najib Faisal requested hearing be adjourned till second week of February.
Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar appeared in the court. Jail warrants of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Azam Swati were presented.
Exemption from attendance plea of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan was filed.
It was said in the plea that it is day of family meeting with PTI founder. Therefore, the sisters have gone to Adiala jail to meet Imran Khan. Exemption plea be accepted.
The court while accepting exemption from attendance plea of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan extended interim bail of the accused till February 12.
The bail plea of Asad Umar in 3 cases came up for hearing. Record of the cases was not presented. Record of case No 23/96 was called.
ATC adjourned hearing of bail plea of Azam Swati till February 4.
The court said the investigation of the case will have not been completed.
